Welcome to FreshFridgeFriend ("FFF", "we", "us"). By using our app or website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What FreshFridgeFriend is

FFF helps you track food you already own so less of it ends up in the trash. It offers estimated expiration dates, storage tips, and recipe ideas. These are helpful guesses, not food-safety guarantees. Always use your own judgment (and senses) before eating anything.

2. Your account

  • You can try FFF without an account. Data stays on your device until you sign up.
  • You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

Don't do things that would make a reasonable person groan, including:

  • Breaking laws, harassing people, or infringing others' rights.
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, or abusing the service.
  • Uploading content you don't have the right to share.

4. Content you add

You keep ownership of the receipts, photos, recipes, and notes you add. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content back to you (and to people you explicitly share it with) so the app can function.

5. AI features

Some features use AI to read receipts, identify items, suggest recipes, and estimate shelf life. AI makes mistakes. Please review results before saving or acting on them.

6. Paid plans

Paid plans (when available) are billed through Stripe. You can cancel any time and you'll keep your benefits until the end of the paid period. We don't offer prorated refunds unless required by law.

7. Service changes

We're a small project and features may change, break, or be removed. We'll try to give notice for anything major. The service is provided "as is" without warranties.

8. Termination

You can delete your account any time from Settings. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, FreshFridgeFriend is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any food-safety decisions you make based on the app.
