Can I add or remove people quickly?+
Yep — bump seats up or down any time from Settings → Household. Adds are pro-rated on your next invoice; removals free up a seat immediately and credit the unused time.
Do you have discounts if I share this app with my friends?+
Absolutely. Every friend who joins Household on your invite earns both of you one free month — stacks up to 12 months a year. Drag your loved ones in and let the fridge do the rest.
What counts as a seat?+
One person in your household with their own login. Kids who don't cook (yet) don't need a seat.
Can I cancel?+
Any time, from Settings → Manage subscription. You keep Premium until the end of the billing period.
How do I upgrade to more seats?+
Head to Settings → Household → Manage subscription and bump your seat count up. The extra seats unlock immediately and we pro-rate the charge on your next invoice — no need to wait for a new billing cycle.
Can I downgrade if my household shrinks?+
Yep. Drop seats from Manage subscription any time. The change takes effect at the end of your current period, and we credit unused time toward your next invoice. If you drop below your current household size, we'll ask which member's access to remove first.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?+
Absolutely. Toggle it from Manage subscription. Switching to annual pro-rates the difference right away (and locks in the 15% discount). Switching back to monthly takes effect at your next renewal.
What happens to my food data if I downgrade?+
Nothing gets deleted. Your pantry stays; you just lose sharing and unlimited scans.
Why can't I have more than 10 custom storage spaces?+
On purpose 🥕 Free plans get 5 spots and Premium unlocks 10 — and we cap it there. The whole point of FreshFridgeFriend is to help you actually remember what you have. The more places you spread your food across, the easier it is for a lonely zucchini to hide behind the pickles forever. Consolidate your stash: fewer spots = fewer forgotten leftovers = less waste. If 10 truly isn't enough, tell us what you're storing — we'd love to hear it.
